I was super excited to see some of these at a flea market last weekend, He-Man and Stratos. My excitement lessened slightly when i saw that they were asking $75 each. I was WAY too busy paying $20 a pop for DCUC figures to get in on that. :)

Great review! I've been tempted to pick up these figures, especially Skeletor, but I've managed to hold off so far. Unfortunately, no MOTU line will be worth my while until the Evil and Armed for Combat Trapjaw is available!

Mattel has stated that it will rerelease certain "core" characters, namely He-Man and Skeletor. They also implied that something would be different about the rereleases so that they don't throw those who have the figures under the bus. I assume there will be repaints.

If there is still a high demand for these, then Mattel would be incredibly stupid to pass up a 2nd run. Especially in this economy.

Man, with every single one of these reviews you do, i harbor a little bit more regret at the fact that i didn't start collecting this line. Maybe one day there'll be rereleases...right? One can always hope. :) <BR/><BR/>At any rate, i will be right there with you at 11:50 refreshing for Hordak when he rolls around. If i only get one of these, it's going to be Hordak.
