I was lucky enough to speak to the Basic Fun rep at SDCC last year...the missing paint apps were due to cost. Which is a shame - it really wrecked Blech and Wolf Breath (who is completely missing the white inner face on the production figure). Swine Sucker is near a work of art, though. I need to get some pics of those together.

Ah - for series 1, they missed a number of paint apps on Slobulus that bothered me - left parts of him that were supposed to be black hair green. So I colored them in with a black magic marker. Came out well.
