Ghostbusters fandom has been going crazy lately. With the announcement of a new video game, Four Horsemen-sculpted action figures, and (possibly) an upcoming movie, it's a great time to be a Ghostbusters fan. So I thought it timely that this week's comic ad features the classic Ghostbusters video game for the Commodore 64. I still remember playing the game as a kid. You drove around the city responding to citizen calls reporting ghost infestation. You then hopped out of the car and tried to capture the ghosts by maneuvering the energy streams. But watch out... cross the streams and you're done for! I was but a wee lad when I was playing this game so I didn't get very far. But I remember it was one of my favorite C64 games.
You can check out the gameplay in this YouTube video by BigGsHouseOfFun. The sound effects and music are actually pretty good for a game from this time period.

5 out of 5 - Simply incredible!
4 out of 5 - Pretty awesome!
3 out of 5 - Cool enough, I suppose.
2 out of 5 - Not quite good enough.
1 out of 5 - Pretty horrific!
0 out of 5 - No redeeming quality at all.
