You know, there are a few shots that make me think that this might not be the disaster that I had previously assumed it would be. You can see that there are plenty of fireballs in this movie which might be fun, and there were a few action shots that caught my eye.  And the Kamehameha shot (at top, click to enlarge) looks pretty sweet, I dare say.

But I can already tell that Goku's hair is going to drive me crazy, in part because it's so freaky, and in part because in virtually every single scene it's stylized slightly differently. Ack.  And a few of the martial arts shots looked cheap and shakey, especially the one with Goku sparring that dude on the wire.  But there is enough there to get me interested and maybe the movie will have some merit after all.

Sorry, but the original DragonBall
cartoon and the later DragonBall Z are WAY BETTER than this too western looking movie!
PLUS they should have gotten some better actors too imo.

Sorry Tortle that my first comment on your GREAT SITE here is a rather negative one ;)

Greetings from fellow-LRG Donkeykid77.

It's a negative comment, but I agree with what you're saying! I really don't think this movie is going to be good, but maybe I'll be surprised.

I had to go to a friends house to view this trailer. My opinion, it shouldn't have been called a dragonball movie. I didn't think any of the characters were...in character. Looks like a lamo modernized cast to me. I won't be seeing this movie unless it's for free. So maybe around November 2009. :D

Hardcore DB/DBZ fans will probably be super disappointed in this movie as far as accuracy, but it does look a little promising in the action department. But I've seen action before.
